With the birth of man, love is born in him. All the love and marriage within its scope cannot be confined within the limits of any caste, religion, class and geography. Where love grows, it wants to bloom and spread.

It is naturally autonomous. Therefore, human-made caste, religion, class and the order of a ruler cannot be stopped or suppressed. However, in Nepali society, sacred relationships such as love and marriage are forcibly narrowed down within certain caste, religion and class boundaries.

The message of the owner of the caste system is still alive today. In fact, even today, the scope of love and marriage of loving couples who have reached the age is bound by the rule, conservative thinking and narrow-mindedness.

Young men and women are now engaged in love week . But there are few people in Nepali society who understand the importance of love day and its history. Because here the relationship is not related to love but to caste. Because, there is society's intervention and control in love and marriage. St. Valentine openly rebelled against the Roman state to find the love of his own choice against the ruler who limited love and marriage to this narrow niche.

This sequence continues from St. Valentine to the difficult struggle of Ajit Mizar, Navraj Vick, Kosila Mahato, Bhishma Bhandari and Satyendra Ram (Chamar) in Nepal. How to support and encourage their love and change! On the contrary, the news of stopping, snooping and many frauds has come out from the home minister. It's sad and unfair . It seems that not only the society, but the government is trying to suppress love and marriage within the caste.

Why is love day celebrated?

Valentine's Day is not only a celebration of love, it is considered as a sacrifice, struggle and fight for love marriage. Where the history of Valentine's struggle and sacrifice to break the ban imposed on love and marriage by the Roman emperor . In the third century, the Roman Emperor Claudius II issued an order not to marry soldiers in his country.

Because, the king thought that the army cannot fight if they fall into the trap of marriage . But Saint Valentine felt that the king's order was against religion. He believed that even God is pleased with love and attraction within the scope of discipline. So he strongly opposed the king's decision. Disobeying the king's command, he encouraged everyone to love and marry. Accordingly, couples of young men and women were prepared and held a mass wedding ceremony in a public place.

Then Emperor Claudius felt that Valentine had provoked others to love and marriage against his judgment, and Claudius issued an order to imprison Valentine . After that, Valentine was imprisoned in the dungeon. Valentine was hanged on February 14, 269 for violating the king's prohibition of love and marriage. Before going to the gallows, Valentine told the jailer, "When I die, I will give my eyes to your blind daughter."

In addition, he sent a love message to the jailer's daughter. At the bottom of the message was written, 'Frame Your Valentine' . Along with the love message, he lovingly sent a gift of flowers to his girlfriend . Since that day, Valentine's Day is celebrated all over the world as St. Valentine's Day in memory of the priest who sacrificed his life for love. It has its own proud history . It is not only a love festival but also a mourning day .

love marriage in Nepal and interesting situation

While remembering the struggle and sacrifice made by St. Valentine for love and marriage against the decision of the Roman Emperor, the number of people who have made the same struggle and sacrifice is not small in Nepal. The struggle of Nepalese youths who rebelled for love and marriage by breaking the syndicate of caste structure prohibited by the caste system is equally proud even today. Because of this, many brutal murders are in front of our eyes. Again, in cases of caste discrimination, inevitable questions are asked. There is still caste discrimination in the society and people who are in the position of the state also do this . Come on, let's discuss the matter together. Who doesn't do caste discrimination, how does the state intervene on caste discrimination.

The news of illegal interference by the Home Minister and the IGP on the inter-caste love marriage of Satyendra Kumar Ram (Chamar) of Barhathwa Municipality-4 of Sarlahi and Neha Rauniar of Barhathwa-5 has spread all over the social media. Against which there was protest from the streets to the House. Since

, the Supreme Court also issued an order that the marriage of the inter-caste couple was valid. However, the couple of Satyendra and Neha, who went to visit Mumbai on 21st December, were forced to return to Nepal as if they had committed a crime by deputing the police from Nepal. They were subjected to physical and mental torture. Not only that, Satyendra's family moved from the village. However, Satyendra and Neha are fighting with courage and honor against the injustice and excesses of the society and the state.

is eight years ago today . On 25 June 073, Ajit got married on 25 June 073 after a two-year relationship with a young girl of Parajuli type from Jamdi near Panchkhalan in Kavre . After four days of marriage, Ajit Mizar, who had gone to get a recharge card, passed away without returning home. On 30 June 2073, a photo of Ajith's body was found in the waiting room of Dhading's Gajuri Furke Khola, kneeling and hanging with a plastic tripal rope around his neck. The next day, the police started to bury the open pit after finding a dead body. Dalit rights activists have been speaking for his justice time and again saying that Ajith was not killed but murdered. Irony! Ajith has not received justice till date.

The cases of being forced to suffer death for love are not enough . On 10th June 2077, Navraj Vick of Jajarkot and his five friends were tied hand and foot and thrown into the Bheri river in Rukum West because they were in love with an alleged upper caste girl. The court proved that local level ward president Dammar Bahadur Malla was involved in killing 6 people including Navraj Vick. This was the root cause of the incident, inter-caste love affair.

Why is inter-caste love-marriage unacceptable even today

Inter-caste marriage in Nepali society was completely prohibited since the ruling system of Jayashithi Malla. Even if someone had inter-caste love and marriage, they were punished according to the law at that time. In other words, inter-caste marriage was considered as a crime.

It is written in Article 20 of Bihwari, 'If a man of an upper caste marries a woman of a lower caste, his caste will fall to the caste of a woman .'

Likewise, as mentioned in Article 12 of the Civil Act, which says that if you marry a low caste woman, you should take away all the property of the said man. 'If that person is a thief, then his body should be taken away. If he is a non-malevolent person but is infected, his caste should be changed to the caste of a woman,' states the civil law.

is also clear from this - how the state prohibited inter-caste marriage in Nepali society  The thing that . As a result, there was no situation for a loving couple to break the boundaries of their caste and get married. The right to separate young men and women who married Dalits from the society by naming them with the word 'Bitulo' belonged to the people of the caste, who were said to be the superiors of the society . As a

, caste discrimination is avoided as a social problem. But its solution is not sought . As a result, the two communities have not been able to mix in the society . Why is the society entangled in the problem of caste? If you dig for the reason, you will find many. In Chapter 3 of Manusmriti it is written, 'A Shudra should marry a Shudra girl, a Vaishya should marry a Vaishya and a Shudra girl, a Kshatriya should marry a Kshatriya, a Vaishya and a Shudra girl, and a Brahmin should marry a girl of all four castes.'

Chapter 8 of Manusmriti mentions, 'If a Shudra commits adultery with a woman of another caste, he should be put to death . All the four castes should protect their women the most.'

In Chapter 9 of Manusmriti, it is written, 'A Shudra should make a wife only of a woman of his own caste . He has no right to bring a woman of another caste. Therefore, even if his wife has a hundred sons, the property of the father will be equal to all of them.'

Inter-caste marriage was banned by making such harsh laws . This law was given to the king. Only the people had . It is a shame that its roots still remain in the society . No matter how much the system has changed in Nepal, the character of the society and the state still has the old smell.

Now even in Nepal, the new generation has to fight hard to widen the scope of love and marriage. It is necessary to develop awareness among the Nepalese youth that a sacred relationship like love should not be limited by any regime, caste, religion or class. As 'Saint Valentine' disobeyed the command of the Roman Emperor . We must come outside the boundaries of same-sex marriage to break the rules of values, interests and nature created by society and the state. Love should not be controlled by anyone.

Love is a feeling that arises spontaneously from the human mind. Love is the power that brings peace, happiness and inspiration. In fact, the right to love and marry who should not be determined by any caste, religion, class or rule. Let love flow into your own being. Let it bloom . should spread  Love and marriage should not be imprisoned in a social cage . Let love fly like a bird. Society should become like the blue sky . The love between each other should actually be like love.
