Bikram Timilsina of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangha (RSS) was elected in Nuwakot-1, defeating Prakash Sharan Mahat.

According to the public vote results on Sunday night, Timilsina won with a margin of 4,12 votes. The elected Timilsina received 22,609 votes while his nearest competitor Mahat received 18,597 votes.

In Nuwakot-1, Bikram Timilsina of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) has been elected, defeating Congress candidate and former Finance Minister Prakash Sharan Mahat. According to the public results on Sunday night, Timilsina won with a margin of 4,012 votes. The elected Timilsina received 22,609 votes, while his nearest competitor Mahat received 18,597 votes, according to the Returning Officer's Office. Similarly, Hit Bahadur Tamang of the NCP came in third with 13,377 votes, while Badri Prasad Mainali of the UML received only 8,932 votes. Ujjaya Nepal Party candidate Amit Tamang received 2,063 votes. There are 18 candidates in Nuwakot-1, and all the others received less than 1,000 votes. Bimal Thapa of the RPP received 756 votes, Dawa Fenju Lama of the Shram Sanskriti Party received 288 votes, Kumar Rana Magar of the Mongol National Organization received 159 votes, Mahendra Tamang of the Nepal Communist Party (Maoist) received 156 votes, and Rajan Gautam of the Progressive Democratic Party received 88 votes.

Similarly, Rabindra Dangol of the Nepal Workers and Peasants Party received 50 votes, Hom Bahadur Rai of the Janata Samajwadi Party received 24 votes, and Bivek Silwal of the Miteri Party Nepal received 6 votes, said Assistant Election Officer Pramod Rijal. Independent candidates Sanjiv Gurung received 63 votes, Raju Thapa received 49 votes, and Chepe Tamang received 14 votes.

Hit Bahadur Tamang, the then leader of the Maoist Center, won consecutively in Nuwakot-1 in 2079 and 2074.
