Makwanpur's Chepang Bahulya Vikat Rural Municipality has been affected under the 'Chepang Electricity Program' of Nepal Electricity Authority.

Executive Director of Nepal Electricity Authority, Kulman Ghising, disturbed the village of Khairang by 'switching on' the transmitter in Raksirang rural municipality-9 Khairang during a ceremony on Monday. He also turned on the electricity meter of Phulmaya Chepang's house in Raksirang-9 Khairang. 

In Makwanpur's remote Khairang, Chepang electricity program was started since 2076/077. The rural municipality was slowly burying electric poles and pulling wires with its own resources. When the executive director of the authority, Ghising, supported the campaign, electricity reached all the wards of Raksirang Rural Municipality including Khairang. "The entire Raksirang has become a mess because of the support of Kulman Ghising," said Rajkumar Malla, chairman of the rural municipality. said. 

Ghising, the executive director of the authority, distributed 303 electricity meters to the needy Chepang of the said ward for free. All 9 wards of the remote settlements of Raksirang, including Khairang, who have been spending their lives in the light of Tuki and Dialo,  Electricity has started burning in the houses of Chepang and other communities since Monday. According to the census of 2078, there are 5 thousand 44 households in the municipality with a population of 25 thousand 996. Electricity has reached all those houses. 

The rural municipality has also honored Ghising, who helped electrify the homes of the remote municipality. Executive Director Ghising said that he was happy to provide electricity to the remote villages of Chepang. Expressing his happiness that the municipality remembered and honored him by bringing him to Khairang, he said, "This honor has given me energy."
