60 people who were stranded due to landslides in Vigu Village-1 Deurali have been rescued. After the landslide damaged the road, 60 people, including 25 foreign tourists, along with path guides and porters, were rescued and brought to Lamabgar using an alternative route. A landslide occurred during the excavation of the access road for the hydropower project.

After the landslide damaged the road, about 60 tourists, including 25 foreigners who were returning from the inauguration of the Lapchi Rechen Sherpa Dorje monastery and meditation center in Lapchi village on the border with China, were stranded in the Deurali area.

Mem Bahadur Tamang, Chairman of Vigu Rural Municipality-1, said that they were brought to Lamabgar using an alternative route. At around 11 am on Friday morning, Tamakoshi, which was partially blocked due to a dry landslide, returned to its normal rhythm during the digging of the road between Kyalu Khola and Deurali in Vigu Rural Municipality 1- Lamabagar.
