Another baby in the belly of a three-month-old baby! This incident, which may sound unbelievable, was seen 32 years ago at Kanti Children's Hospital. After the baby was found to be a boy with a fully developed body including limbs and a spinal cord, doctors said it was one of only two such incidents in the world.

A three-month-old baby was admitted to Kanti Children's Hospital for treatment. The baby was removed through surgery. The health of three-month-old Suryal Khulal, who underwent surgery, improved. Khulal was born on 17 Asoj 2051 at his own home in Nijgadh Road Tole in Bara.

Khulal's father/mother Khadga Bahadur Khulal and Lakshmi had said that the baby's stomach was a little big when he was born. 'After feeding him milk, his stomach started to grow.' His mother Khulal had said. After feeding him milk, the baby's stomach swelled and reached his back, so he was taken to Birgunj-based doctor Krishna Kumar Agrawal. Agrawal had suggested that he be taken to Kathmandu for surgery because he had a disease called megacolon, which he suspected was due to a growth of meat in his stomach.

Doctors Keshav Bahadur Rajbhandari and Krishna Prasad Devkota examined the child only 9 days after he was admitted to the Children's Hospital in Kathmandu. After X-raying the kidneys, they suspected that there was a water sac in the child's stomach and a lump of meat there. The doctors were also surprised when the baby was found in the child's stomach during the surgery.

Surgeon Devkota, who participated in the surgery, said, "Such incidents rarely happen in the world." Devkota had given information that only one or two such incidents have been found in the world. He said that a fetus had developed inside the child's stomach. He had speculated that the golden-colored fetus might be sucking the blood of the child from the sun. He had said that the sac containing the fetus was the mother's modified stomach.
