Compared to the current year, the annual budget of Nepal 31 years ago is 19 trillion 24 billion 195 million 91 thousand less. In other words, the size of the budget at that time was about 60 billion short of one billion .

In the budget of the year 2082/083, ordinary expenditure is 7 trillion 73 billion 9 million more than capital. 11 trillion 80 billion 98 crores in the current year under the heading of ordinary expenses, ie 60.00 of the total budget. The Arun project for which the budget was allocated at that time has not been completed yet. 

As a summary of the budget presented by the caretaker government when there is no parliament and the date of the mid-term elections has been set, the Kantipur daily published a news story on July 1, 2051 under the title 'Continuation of tradition by the Minister of State for Finance'.
