Ganeshman Singh, the supreme leader of Nepali Congress, has been continuously raising questions about the government and the working style of Prime Minister Girija Prasad Koirala. He demanded that Koirala should be punished for playing a role in defeating the party president Krishna Prasad Bhattarai in the by-election held in Kathmandu-1.

Ganeshman Singh was very upset that the central committee of the party considered his legitimate demands to be irrelevant. So he stopped participating in Congress working committee or important discussions. He has been putting forward his opinion time and again saying that he may separate from Congress.

Discontent continued . Meanwhile, he fell ill and was admitted to Veer Hospital. At that time, he felt that he was very weak. Even when the mass movement of 2046 was at its peak, Ganeshman Veer was being treated at the hospital. On Chait 24, 2046, he encouraged the procession going from Sahidgate to Ratnapark by waving his hand from the roof of Veer Hospital. He was the commander of that people's movement .  [Archive] When Ganeshman started crying in the hospital bed...

In June 2051, when he fell ill and was being treated at the same hospital, the meetings of party leaders and workers increased. He used to express his concern to the well-wishers who came to visit him due to physical ill-health, saying that democracy should not die.

2051 On June 24, 2051, he told the team including Congress central member and MP Taranath Ranabhat, who reached the hospital, "I am in a situation where I can only worry about protecting democracy with a good heart". You have come - Girija Prasad was also expected to come. Perhaps he will also come,' Ganeshman said, 'I have only one wish - don't let democracy die.'

Ganeshman Singh suddenly started crying while he was speaking and the participants said that while crying, he slowly talked more.

When he started crying more and said that what he said will come through the statement, those who went to the meeting also started crying . After realizing that it was difficult for Ganeshman to even cry, Taranath Ranabhat said 'we will discuss later' and left the place. Kantipur Dainik published a news story on June 25, 2051 under the title 'Ganeshaman cried' about Ganeshman crying and worrying about the defense of democracy in the latter part of his life.
