2050 Chait 14 at 6.45 am. While most of them were sleeping, a group of unknown Indians entered the house of Baneshwar and pointed a pistol at the house owner. There was a kind of panic in the CDO village of Baneshwar.
At first, the locals asked who are the people with weapons? They didn't get an answer to the question of why they came and why they behaved like this. The group of 10 people carrying pistols and stun guns came in DLC 5086 and UG 70 EE 0616 motor.
The armed group in plain clothes initially entered the house of Shiv Prasad Sharma, the former Director General of the Commerce Department and forced his brother Dwarika Prasad to raise his hand and pointed a pistol at him.
Four people carrying pistols and knives entered Shivprasad's bedroom and asked Madankrishna Shrestha's house. They spoke in Hindi. They also questioned saying that people from Delhi live here. Later, Shivprasad gave the information that he was going to Madankrishna's house saying 'Sari'.
Local teacher Deepak Sharma informed the police about the incident. But the police questioned that it was a team with a 'leader'.
The team of the armed group left Shivprasad's house and went to Madankrishna's house and entered the bedroom. Pointing a pistol at Madankrishna's neck, 'Where is the man named Bablu? Tell me quickly . Nahi to goli maregi', showing a wad of notes, said that 'Mulayam Singh Yadav has put a reward of 2 lakhs to catch Bablu'. 8 of them entered the room and the car with some people carrying stun guns was parked outside Madankrishna's house.
After Madankrishna said that he did not know anything about Bablu, they opened the introduction . A Sardar who came to the group said that he was the DIG of the Indian Police . Another Sardar said that he is the center's AC .
After some time, they left there saying "Hum ghalat jaga aaye hai, maaf kar do". During the search, they also showed a photograph of a Sardar, saying, "We have come to search for criminals".
Who are they? Why did you panic like this ? Is there any information about this incident to the government of Nepal? The locals were clueless . After the commotion, UML MP Salim Mia Ansari reached the spot and called the police. The police told MP Mia that they had received information that the Indian police had come to look for criminals.
Home Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba said that he did not know about the incident. Buffalo trader Idris Mia, who was camping in a local house, said that the group took his 20,000 cash and some gold. Idris was living in a house rented by Arun Agarwal, who is known as Nepalgunj Ghar. Although he rented a house by paying 17,000 per month, he did not know what Agarwal's job was.
Agarwal, who had gone to Delhi three months ago, had not returned. Superintendent of Police Revat Bahadur Thapa had informed that they had come to look for other criminals with some of the criminals involved in the murder case in Delhi 6 months ago. He said that Nepal Police is also in the team. He informed that the Indian police had searched the house with permission. It was only after his statement that it became clear that the Indian police had searched the house. He said that action will be taken under the Extradition Act. It was AC Thapa's statement that the search was done with the consent of the government level.
Protests started in Kathmandu after foreign security personnel entered houses and ransacked the heart of Kathmandu without warning. The incident was published by Kantipur Daily under the title "Indian Police Action in CDO Toll of New Baneshwar" on Chait 15, 2050.
