After the bombing in Kathmandu, his identity as a republican leader was made. As he was underground, he was not known by the general public. Even after four years of the practice of open political system due to the change of 2046, he i.e. Ram Raja Prasad Singh was still underground. Many called his underground life mysterious. He was asked why underground even in an open political system.
In the year 2042, a bomb was exploded in Kathmandu during the peaceful satyagraha called by the Congress demanding a multi-party system. Bombs were detonated at Rashtriya Panchayat Bhavan, Narayanhiti Rajdarbar, Annapurna Hotel and others. Some innocent people were also killed in that bomb scandal.
Republican leader Singh took the responsibility of the bomb blast himself. The panchayat government sentenced him to death for exploding the bomb. After the bomb fell, the panchayat government accused the Congress movement of turning into violence, and the Congress immediately announced the withdrawal of the peaceful movement of Satyagraha.
Even after the change of 2046, the case related to narcotic marijuana, which was filed against Singh on January 14, 2042, remained. He was also sued by the Panchayat under the Association Act when he was a candidate for the National Panchayat member election in 2028. Despite that, he was elected as a member of the National Panchayat. However, he was arrested soon after. After negotiating with Raja Mahendra, he was released and also took oath as a member of the National Panchayat. He was arrested again from Biratnagar in 2028 when he left the country with the program of the
movement. His post of Rashtriya Panchayat member was also taken away . During his prison life, all his property was confiscated. In 2037, he participated in the referendum by forming a multi-party Janavadi Morcha.
Even after the change of 2046, his property confiscated by the government was not returned . Other leaders of his party, Janwadi Morcha Nepal, Anarsingh Karki, Laxman Singh and others were also charged with corruption in the Saptari District Court. Ram Raja Prasad Singh launched a violent and armed movement in the panchayat demanding the establishment of a people's republican democratic socialist state system. They claimed that bomb incident was a form of that movement.
In particular, there were many who said that Ramraja bombed his leaders-activists underground in 2042 . At that time, people were very interested in him. He was jailed at the age of 9 for participating in the Quit India Movement. He was jailed along with his brother Lakshman Singh and father Jaimangal Singh because guns and protesters were found in his house during the agitation.
Singh studied at Mamaghar in Darbhanga, India. Therefore, his family was also connected to the Quit India movement against the British.
After the establishment of an open political system in the country, Ramraja, Khemraj Mayalu, Laxman Singh and others announced that they would leave the underground life and come to Nepal from India. For that, 25th and 26th of January 2050 was fixed. The issue of a leader who lived underground and leaving the country to join open politics was viewed with great interest in Nepali politics.
Journalist Taranath Dahal's title "Ramaraja sure to come to Kathmandu within this month" was published in Kantipur daily on 12th December 2050.
