After I started to earn enough to support myself, I decided to return to my hometown and do something within a year of moving to Kathmandu. It felt right to struggle with my family.

Dharan is the city of Lahore. I also had a dream of becoming a Lahore. However, that dream could not be fulfilled. I felt sad for some time. Nothing else, I wanted to serve the country. With this dream in mind, I stayed in the training center for three years. However, I could not succeed. Now I am 30 years old.
I live in Himali Chowk, Dharan Sub-metropolitan City-11. After my dream of becoming a Lahure did not come true, I thought of doing something in Nepal. However, doing business in Nepal is not easy. Even today, I am constantly struggling to sustain my business. You cannot start a business with little money, but you also do not have the capacity to make a big investment. If you take a loan to do business, you are afraid that you will sink somewhere.
I started working in marketing at the age of 21. The company I worked for at first was not legally registered. However, when I started earning good income, I registered the company myself. We also opened a branch in Dharan. I used to earn up to 50 thousand per month. Sometimes it was more than that. In fact, the more I could sell, the more profit I made. Since we are three brothers, it was not difficult to divide the expenses and run the business.
I worked hard for others for so many years. Now I have decided to work hard for my dream. But, after seven years, there was a dispute within the company and I left that company. After seven years of experience, I decided to start my own business. At the age of 28, I reached Kathmandu with that dream. I decided to do something with the money I had saved. I opened a chips store in Chabahil in Kathmandu in collaboration with a Chinese chips manufacturing company. The room rent was 35 thousand per month. I also hired a staff by paying 15 thousand per month. Since I was a wholesale shop, I used to supply chips to the end.
After I started earning enough for myself, I decided to return to my own place within a year of moving to Kathmandu and do something. It felt right to struggle with my family. I returned to Dharan in 2080. Then I started working as a manager in my friend's makeup studio. Since my friend was abroad, I had all the responsibility on my shoulders. I did advertising, public relations, and all the management. The studio's monthly expenses were more than 80 thousand. On top of that, I had to send 40 thousand to my friends every month.
Even though I earned 1.5-2 lakhs a month, I would only get 30-50 thousand after deducting all expenses. That was also not always consistent. There was a lot of competition, makeup studios were opening everywhere. No matter how much I earned, it was only enough for myself. It became difficult to save. Finally, I quit that job.
Then I thought of opening my own makeup studio. I had not been able to save money after working for so many years. So I thought of running a makeup studio with a small investment. However, since the expenses were high, I thought of starting a business in partnership. And together with a friend, we ran a makeup studio in Gautam Path, Dharan-9. The room rent alone is 35 thousand. There are five staff members. The salary alone costs 50 thousand. The monthly expenses are more than one lakh.
It has only been two months since we started operating the studio. So we are currently covering the expenses ourselves. There are customers who come to learn makeup, but not as many as we thought. When you run a studio with an investment of 2.5 lakh, there is both hope and fear. It makes you worry about whether you will sink somewhere.
Everyone says, ‘You have to go abroad when you are old, it is difficult to sustain a business in Nepal.’ Sometimes I think, if I had gone abroad, maybe some money would have been added. I could have saved. But, all these years, I worked hard for others. Now I have decided to work hard for my dream. There is fear, but there is still hope. Now let's see what the future holds!
