Now I am known by some as the 'radio repair man'. Some have seen it while fixing the wires of the mixer, some have seen it while holding the tool to turn on the TV. Some people see me crouching in that small room in the tin shop of Bagarpata from morning till night. But perhaps few people have seen from those eyes - I was employed in the armed police for 16 years.

Yes, another phase of my life started while in the armed forces. I learned not only how to use a gun, but also how to open a machine, solve a broken wire, find the sound of a speaker. Perhaps one day this skill was not expected to be useful, but life took a turn . After leaving the job, the first thing I thought was to live my life with these hands. That was 12 years ago . I opened a small shop in a corner of Bagarpata, the monthly rent is four thousand .

was a tin roof, old match chairs, some screws and old machine parts . In the beginning, two-three customers came a day . They used to bring radios, tapes, torches. At that time, daily earnings were up to 2-3 thousand. That amount was good at that time. I myself come from an armed man . There was discipline, there is a sense of being able to appreciate . Now, although the income is not as much as before, it is a relief to spend on household expenses .

Even now seven/eight hundred is earned on a working day . The cost of vegetables, rice, salted oil has been met. The cost of the morning-evening kitchen has been spent. My house is right next to the capital market. Two sons and daughters, me and wife, a family of four. The house is small but well-equipped. No need to go far. After opening the shop in the morning, it doesn't take 10 minutes to get back home . It is easy to look after the child even for a moment or come back after having tea .

Mrs. Napi works in a surveyor's office . As a government employee, he gets a monthly income . I am running my world with my skills . Pension also comes. Work is also underway . Therefore, going to Korea and Japan never came up in our house . For me, this country is Japan, this is Korea. I see some friends - even after working in the army, police, armed police for 20-25 years, they have gone abroad . They are driving taxis, they are engaged in building construction . Some may have earned money, but I am working here by showing my skills . The

shop now has different types of goods than before. Now not only radios, smart TV remotes, flickering LED lights, torches, fans, mixers and other kitchen appliances are also brought for repair . DJ sets are also sometimes brought in . The tape stopped coming . Even today, some people come to my shop with a torch, some speakers . I smile and say, 'I'll give it today, otherwise I'll keep it repaired until tomorrow morning.'The shop has a fan spinning, old remotes are piled up. And a dream is growing in a small room about that tin . The same dream that brought me from the ranks of the armed police to the shop in Bagarpata.

My job is not 10-4 . Sometimes customers come in the morning, sometimes I get stuck till evening . But I am satisfied . After morning tea, I reach the shop, I arrange the items one by one . You can always eat rice and vegetables. Sometimes the meat is also cooked . Hot tea inside the house, bustling shops outside, what more do you want in life?

In the local elections of 2079, I ran for the chairmanship of Bhageswar Rural Municipality. My agenda was unique . "Making 365 days of Dasain" - which was targeted at the poor. Made an agenda for the farmers of 'sowing seeds in the fields from helicopters'. Many people laughed. Some made it viral . I lost, but the thought won . Even today that thought remains .

Now I am thinking, I should run for the province in the upcoming elections. I am such a person, who is always connected with his work . What I learned when I was an armed policeman is what I am living for now. And politics is also a service for me. Running a shop in Bagarpata, lighting a lamp, making a radio, I think, how to plan for common people like us? How to develop skills in the village? Why should young people go abroad? Why can't we work and live by ourselves ? I have always wanted, to live from work, to enjoy life from pleasure and I think I am successfully doing that .
