Due to violent demonstrations in Baneshwar area, students in schools and campuses in that area have stopped returning home.

Parents have said that some schools and campuses have called to pick up their children. There is tension in Baneshwar area. A school parent said, "I got a call from the school to come pick up the child."

Similarly, parents say that some schools and campuses have informed that they will send their children home only after the demonstration site calms down. The teachers said that the students were kept safe inside the educational institution.

District Administration Office Kathmandu has issued a curfew order in Parliament area of ​​Baneshwar due to a clash with the police during the demonstration of Gen-G. The curfew is said to remain in force till 10 pm. After the demonstrations and vandalism continued, the students of the educational institutions of that area were affected.
