We young people are also a bit chaotic

Earlier, I used to shout with my father (Constituent Assembly Speaker Subaschandra Nemwang), he used to say that we need youth in politics. Father, I used to say, 'You have destroyed the judiciary, the executive, and you want youth to come? Should you come to take care of what you destroyed?'

The presence of youth in politics is inevitable. If we look not only at the present but also at the past, it is confirmed how necessary youth was and is in politics. From UML leader Madan Bhandari to KP Sharma Oli, Madhav Nepal, Jhalnath Khanal, Pushpa Kamal Dahal, who are now at the center of politics, they were all in politics from their youth.

Now we can see a wave in youth politics through the local level, the state and the center. It needs to be. The people have given a mandate to the youth that new problems can be solved by the new generation. Even in the past, youth can solve problems in a new way, because now we can see a wave of youth generation.

I have been saying since the time of the House of Representatives election that the elders are necessary along with the youth. Now the energy of youth is needed and so is the experience of elders. The youth want results today and tomorrow. We try to talk about development today and tomorrow, which time conditions and needs we may not understand. An elder with experience in such matters can show the way.

is political according to timeliness. The state of politics, party competition, party and organization building in the past is not the same now. It seems that we, the youth, are forgetting and ignoring history. Many of us even get a little irritated after we've done this and that in history. But if you really want to understand, the ground on which we are doing politics from a competitive environment, our ancestors fought and shed blood and sweat to change the system. The situation before and now is different. Before there was restriction, now there is freedom. However, even now, politics should not be done by fighting, throwing stones, going underground, and commenting. Along with the situation, the political challenges are also different. There is an age of technology.

Young people are willing to change. Young people ask questions because they are looking for change. Do not say that it is wrong when asking a question. Learn that it's okay to question and warn. Our ancestors asked the same question when they were young. We have entered a new era today because of that question. So there is no need to be negative and comment on the question.

In the current case, elders are needed to make the young generation restrained and show them the right path. Our question is right, but if there is a weakness in questioning, the elders should take care of us and show us the way so that we can go this way. I want to emphasize again that the energy of the youth is needed now. There is energy to carry the momentum of change, that is the need of the moment. Our forefathers have experience. It is their job to create restraint.

I don't want to discuss the negative side of information technology in politics. We use technology, not technology uses us. If you look at the current paradigm, it is as if technology has used us. Technology has had a negative impact even on educated youth. Another thing, the kind of rumours, pessimism, negativity that we find more in social media now.

We must warn. The media has also worked hard to bring true news. It doesn't matter if you look at that content, but the way you distort the truth and facts and spread negativity, you can't see anything but chaotic activity and negative content in the mind of a young friend. Because of that, today's youth is on the rampage. Its expression is 'the country does not become'. The result is to be disappointed and flee abroad. That's why filters are necessary when using information technology and social media.

It has been a long time since I was familiar with politics. I was not involved in politics, but when it came to political awareness, I used to talk to my father (Constituent Assembly Speaker Subaschandra Nemwang) about political issues. Now, after his untimely death, I have returned to the polls. It has been 10 months since he became an MP. There is a big difference in the political understanding between before becoming an MP and this 10 months.

Before I used to shout with my father. My father used to say that politics needs youth. What I was saying is that you destroyed the judiciary and the executive. And that youth should come? Should we come to repair what you have destroyed? He said that we should create a comfortable environment so that new problems can be solved when young people come who think in a new way. However, now that I have been in the field of law making for 10 months, I have found this field to be different. I have been attending parliamentary committee meetings for the past 10 months. I participated in two events held abroad, South Korea and China. I participated in programs related to development and climate change in that country.

The reason why these 10 months are different is that as easy as it looks from the outside, you can be as vocal as you can be, but you can't be inside. You can keep your words, you can keep them confidently. Focus on what is relevant and important to the public while speaking. More specifically, the mentality of not leaving any kind of 'loophole' during law making was there before and is still there in the Parliament. But even in law making there are policies and rules. The environment is like that.

Parliament has different opinions. While making laws by respecting different opinions, we have thought that it is for the benefit of the country and the people. It seems that we should proceed with restraint. We have passed many bills in the Law Committee in these 10 months. I was there at the time of the passing of the transitional bill that my father was involved in. No matter how easy the law making looks from the outside, it will take 10 times more effort. Today, laws should be made with long-term thinking in mind.

Many young friends from outside call that there is a certain bill in the committee you are a member of. caution At the time of making the law, the sensibility of the bill and its intention should also be taken into consideration. Some say that it should be abolished and some say that this subject should be added. However, as easy as it is to say from the outside, it is not so easy in the parliament. We should listen to the government bringing the bill, we should listen to the stakeholders. We are not 100% correct. We will have our opinions. Laws should be made considering the various situations of all people. From the outside, it is the parliament. But there is diversity in parliament.

Whether it is law-making or development-making, we have to move forward procedurally. What is happening in the parliament is according to the rules. Various procedures are not arranged to put a brake on the energy of the youth. If it is done like that, it should be broken.

There are opportunities for the youth in politics. Politics is for nation building and people's welfare. My father used to say - politics is service. Throughout your life you have to serve the people and the country. The young generation has the opportunity to be involved in politics and serve. There is a significant presence of youth in the association through the local level and state. The youth who came to power through politics are doing very good work. Politics is an opportunity and a challenge. Challenges are also seen in aspiration and its fulfillment.

Young people have not come to politics. Young leaders and new parties came as the people felt it was necessary. The way you talk about delivery doesn't mean everything is perfect just because you want it. Delivery may also be delayed due to laws, regulations and procedures. Young parliamentarians are raising any issue in the parliament. They seem to be raising the matter in a timely manner. However, there may be differences in terms of time and practical implementation of something. It has been experienced that the delay in the delivery of the issues raised by the youth can be practical, legal and procedural.

Our elders, especially UML President KP Sharma Oli and the leadership of other parties, have moved the youth forward, UML, Maoist, Congress, RSVP who are in the party house, all of them have moved the youth forward. He did this knowing that youth is needed in politics. It is not that the leader in the leadership did not understand that the youth needs politics.

The question of how much the leadership listens to the youth is also raised. But the leadership has given responsibility to the youth in politics as it is considered necessary. You may have moved forward in responsibilities in the sense that young people move forward with new vigor and style. If you look at the parliament, many young MPs have kept their opinions. I also participated seriously in the House and the Parliamentary Committee. Agraj gave the responsibility after listening to the youth. Just because you feel the need does not mean that you will not listen to what the young generation has to say. With

, the youth are a bit chaotic. If we are chaotic, then everything today is needed tomorrow. It is also a hoothooti and should not be viewed in a negative way. However, whether some things can be achieved tomorrow or not, it is also necessary to look at the practice. The economic situation of the country should also be looked at. We have introduced a new system, it is necessary to understand the society and maintain it and strengthen it.
