As much as women are strong in the society, the cinema may be showing the same, let the cinema become a mirror of the society, which can portray the future of the society.

My career in this field started from 2017. I especially wanted to participate in Miss Nepal. I felt like going there to gain some experience and go stronger. With that thought, I participated in Miss Fashionista in 2017. I became the winner.
After winning the title crown of this competition, I was offered to do the music video. It was more of a dancing music video than acting. Which was offered to me by Deepu Malla. I got a good response from the audience from that video.
was then offered in other music videos. At the same time, I started getting work in modeling. The modeling work is still coming. Being interested in fashion, I am still modeling on and off work. Modeling not only develops a person's outer but also inner personality. Because you can't model without confidence.
was moving along with modeling on the one hand and music videos on the other. At that time, I got an opportunity to work in Sujan Chapagai's 'Ghumi Ghumi'. With the release of 'Ghumi Ghumi', my career also turned like the English 'U'. Then, I entered the film industry. I got lost a bit more in 'Ghumi Ghumi' than in the
music video. The audience also liked my work in that song. After that song, the audience who knew me for the first time increased. In other words, 'Ghumi Ghumi' gave me more popularity than the pageant. And that popularity gave 'Pujar Sarki' and 'Poorna Bahadurko Sarangi'. So, by 2025, I have already worked in five films.
But, the most satisfying experience I got was doing 'Pujaar Sarki'. Because the character I played in it sometimes carried my real life feelings. When I lived this character, I was able to openly express my emotions and feelings that I could not express openly in my real life, even though it was through acting. So, in a way, I feel like I can open up about myself in my personal life through this character. I found it very easy to work with its director Dinesh Raut.
Poorna Bahadur's character Sarangi is a progressive thinking female character. I was willing to play that movie because I liked the idea of a character who says, 'You should teach your son, you should not live in a shriveled way because of your caste.' Also, it is shown that this character needs the support of a man to start a new life. This may have been done to make the story interesting. When writing a story, it may not be written looking at a character. It had to be able to keep the audience engaged. There can be many reasons. Again, not all stories should have women alone. It is natural for men and women to want each other. However, some films need to be made about such female characters who are living without a male companion. Because the audience should not get the impression that women cannot live without men. Otherwise, how will the sisters who are not able to break the relationship even after enduring domestic violence and mental torture, dare to come out of that healthy life?
I like to read novels and biographical books. The white earth, Radha, Yogamaya, the thorn or flower of life have touched my heart. A film is being made on a book outside. A few months ago, a biographical book on a male character that sold abroad was brought to India as a cinema. I read stories everywhere on social media that the audience loved the film. It seems that even the Nepali filmmakers would have made movies on the inspiring characters of Nepal. If a film is made on Jhamak Ghimire's biography 'Jeevan Kanda Ki Phool', even the viewers who have not read the book would be able to get inspiration and positive energy from it. If we want, we can make a film on 'Yogamaya'. While reading the book, I was tempted to see the character in the movie. Apart from reading
books, I like to dance and listen to songs. She dances not only when asked by her profession but also at home. Feels like doing your favorite things in your spare time. I hear a lot of Nepali and Hindi in the song.
If you want to come as an artist in the film industry, you have to learn patience and discipline. In this area, one has to be aware and disciplined about understanding the importance of time, taking care of one's mental and physical health, how to express oneself to whom, and setting boundaries in some cases. The biggest thing is also family support. Trying to survive as an artist is challenging in many ways in Nepali society. There are also moral-social and economic challenges in the film industry. Therefore, if the parents are married, the support of the husband must be there. It has been very easy for me to have complete support from my family. However, despite that, the financial challenges in the film industry do not affect it from time to time. Sometimes it seems that we should leave this line and use MBA studies? Let's do business? I think again, I have come this far.
I am enjoying this work, why not do it in this field even if I have to do business? And the idea of making a film in the future comes. The dream of becoming an established artist first and then becoming a film producer in the future has been fulfilled.
