There are many genres of music, it is good if you work continuously in any genre, you need patience, study and persistence to get there
I especially sing songs based on Far West and Karnali tunes. In it, I sing by fusion (mixing) the words of Karnali. I am working in a remote Deuda. My music has originality. In some places, I work by modifying the original style.
People know as Deuda when speaking the language of Far West. The music has been filled by mixing the language there. Some of my songs are in folk pop style. I have also made some dancing songs on it. I found
working this way was difficult to accept at first. Anything is difficult for people to accept quickly. I am not spoiling the originality in this. As in the past, Deuda songs were played only with Madals or flutes. I have narrated the tunes of different styles of music by keeping the rhythm of the guitar in a way that the soul does not die. I don't think originality is lost in my songs.
My opening was an original Deuda song called 'Mota Chamalko'. I released this song in 2073, which had regular music. I worked on the music that was going on. The music was composed by me and the lyrics were by Sushil Bohra.
During that time I worked on a dozen original songs. I followed the songs of the elders. But it didn't make me who I am now. After this song did not gain much popularity, I sang a 'dancing song' called 'Nach Meri Jhuma'. I worked on it by keeping the language of Far West. A new trend was set from there.
Then what I realized is that people are understanding their favorite songs in a new way. I also worked in this kind of music for a year. After 2/3 years I worked in different voices and music. For example, the music of Uttarakhand Kumaon, Garhwal in India is somewhat similar to ours. In the year 2077, I brought a song called 'Oy Kajal'. It has been viewed over 30 million times on YouTube. It was a little different and new in language. It became famous not only in Nepal but also in Uttarakhand, India. By doing this, I went and sang at many Indian organizers' festivals there. This song created a different kind of atmosphere. 'Nach Meri Jhuma' succeeded in making me known in the Far West, while with 'Oe Kajal', people came to know me from all over. The
then became a little different. I brought a song called 'Bhan Sali' in the original Deuda language in 2077. I presented the song with Deuda's rhythm in the live session. Build it into a live music-like pattern. Everyone liked that too.
After this, in the year 2079, I brought the song 'Karnalitir Jhumainde'. It has over 5 million views on YouTube. All these songs are somewhat different. Listening to the language of the Far West added newness to every song. There are many genres of music in Nepal. On top of that, there are listeners who only listen to songs from Far West. In this way, we had to work in a different pattern to reach all regions, geographies, sects and all age groups. While doing this work, the youths liked it very much.
and brought Hudkeli song for old people. I also brought a bhajan called 'Hari Bhajan Deuda' in the original creation. I brought Holi style songs from Far West. I brought Holi songs in bhajan style. I worked on different styles of music so that it should reach every person. Not only the
language, but now I hope that everyone from young to old will come up with something new. Not only that, newbies also follow my track and take advice. Even those who say that this song did not exist in the past have written in this pattern. It also makes me happy. I create my own. I do all the song writing and music myself. I am working on joining the video myself. Coming from a dance firm as well, I also love to dance. At first no one believed me because I came out on my own in my videos. I didn't even believe in my creation. So I sang the first song in other words.
The songs that are now in the market were in my bag at that time. But I didn't have much faith in myself, so I kept it that way. He didn't even raise his voice. Again, the song I wrote will not be sung by others. I will say yes. Later, when pieces of creations started coming to the market, everyone liked them.
I am now 32 years old and have been in the music industry for 12 years. I came to music as quite a challenge. It is difficult to be stable in the Nepali music industry. Moreover, I came to a place where there is not much market. Deuda bazaar is a passion and culture that sings only. It is not customary for people to buy tickets and pay money to listen to singers. I touched that place. There was no market for it. And I was constantly working in pieces from a studio in Kathmandu. I worked with this. Although from the Far West, I worked on it to give a result. It was very difficult at first. Starting over is very difficult. In the beginning, there was also an allegation that the speech of the distant one was spoiled. I could not participate in many events.
What I think is that I have not come to a place where the market has become or that the market has become after I came. Because my hope was not that I would sing Deuda and go abroad, perform concerts and get expensive salary. And there was no hope that the people of Kathmandu would perform on stage by reciting Deuda. But as the work progressed, the transformation in technology meant that songs could be heard anywhere and by anyone. That turned out to be a plus point for me. I'm glad the
has come this far. I'm glad that someone who didn't expect so much got so much work. I am not a mainstream person. It comes from a typical district melody. Now I am able to sing in films. The offer comes in films made in western content. Remember me if there is some program. I have learned that if you keep doing it consistently, after 10/12 years you will get some results.
When we were little, some Deudas didn't sing songs, they were shy. He used to compose other music instead of remote. Now the friends there are trying to work in Deuda music. Adds me to some part. It sounds like the music of distant mountains has come up.
audience is less in Nepal. The market is small. There is also a variety of languages. Only those who love art can survive it. Professional people, people who come with high expectations of earning, cannot last. He had to be able to do something from within, and more than that, he had to be happy from within. I am happy about it. I am in my favorite genre. There are many genres of music. Continuous work in any genre is good. It takes patience to get there. It requires study and persistence. I didn't think from a professional point of view that there is no money in music. Nepali music has not progressed much.
You don't buy houses and cars overnight. Problems are everywhere. There was a problem yesterday too. We must also be commercial. Not only culture and originality. A little bit of commercial and market work should be done. Otherwise, Nepali listeners can listen to not only Nepali but also foreign music. What kind of sound do they want? What are young people looking for now? Keeping in mind the speech should be carried forward.
I got into music at a young age. Whatever has been learned so far, the raw mind seems to work lightly. However, seeing the respect for people's art, I think that they will have to do really good work. I want to work in the field of music in Deuda, far west of Nepal, in order to represent Nepal by bringing it more internationally. An experience and learning so far. Now I think it should be done properly and taken to a separate place in 4/5 years. I don't back down from this area easily. I can work actively in this field for another 10 years.
There are many people who don't listen to me. It has our small country and on top of that many languages and cultures are bound together by diversity. That's why I want to reach everyone by bringing everyone's music. I love working with people who are leading music everywhere. The culture of the country should also be exchanged and people can enjoy it in a new way. The new generation thinks that is good. I like to work in different genres of music. People take it very lightly. We need to understand people who are new and different. If its promotion is good, we can reach the audience well.
