Civil liberties are going to be decisive in the formation of the government of Sudurpaschim Province in the new alliance with UML after the collapse of the power formation with the Congress. Wherever the civil liberties fall, the provincial government will be formed.
There are currently 52 members in the 53-member Sudurpaschim Provincial Assembly. There are 18 MPs from Nepali Congress, 11 MPs including the Chairman of the Maoist Center, 10 MPs from CPN-UML, seven MPs from Civil Liberties, four MPs from United Socialist Party, one from RPP and one independent MP. 27 MPs are required for government formation.
Maoist center and UML have only 20 MPs. In that case, civil immunity is mandatory. In view of the same math, the president of civil emancipation, Reshammalal Chaudhary, has said that the Chief Minister claim is in Far West.
