Nepal defeated Canada by 6 wickets in the match played in Chennai on Thursday. Canada, who won the toss and elected to bat first, had set a target of 162 runs for Nepal. In reply, Nepal achieved the target with the loss of 4 wickets with 12 balls remaining.
For Nepal, Asif Sheikh scored 58 runs in 29 balls with 6 fours and 3 sixes. Similarly, Sandeep Jora scored 44 runs in 30 balls with the help of 4 fours and 1 six. Gulshan Jha scored 31 runs not out.
For Canada, Jaskaran Singh, Saad Bin Zafar and Ajaybir Hundal took 1 wicket each.
