Asif, the team's marquee player, is leading Janakpur while regular captain Anil Shah is injured. Anil has been replaced by Akash Tripathi. Sudurpaschim has not changed any players from the team that won against Karnali Yaks in the last match of the round robin league.
The winning team will go to the final and the losing team will play in Qualifier 2 . Sudurpaschim defeated Janakpur by 72 runs in the round robin league. Meanwhile, Janakpur was bowled out for 51 runs, which is the lowest score in the NPL.
