The National Independent Party (NIP), which emerged as the largest party in the House of Representatives elections last Falgun, is currently busy with the district convention after completing the ward and municipal level conventions. In the NIP, which is preparing for the general convention in Asad, the NIP has unanimously elected the leadership in most places at the lower level, while in some it has been decided by voting.

NIP leaders claim that the number of people joining from other parties is increasing on the eve of the party convention, so it is a challenge to 'manage'. NIP Rupandehi's Organization Department Head Gyanendra Pandey said that the number of leaders joining from other parties has also increased in the course of the party organization expansion. He said that the convention is being held by including the leaders who have joined in this way. 'Internal challenges have also been seen as the party is growing,' he said, 'We have moved forward by organizing everything.' He said that since it is a large party, attention has been paid to ensuring that the organization is not disrupted at such a time as there are more people joining the party.

With the selection of new leadership, the number of people leaving the Congress, UML, and NCP to join the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) is also increasing, said Dr. Buddhi Prasad Sharma, President of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Rupandehi. He said that even though the RSS has not made any call for entry, those in the district, regional, and municipal committees of other parties are now joining.

Two weeks ago, 14 people, including Kosish Bahadur Khadka, the municipal president of the Congress's Siddharthnagar Municipality in Rupandehi, had left the Congress and joined the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). Along with Khadka, cadres including General Conference representative and Tarun Dal municipal president Dipendra Budha, Congress municipal vice president Kiran Ghimire, joint secretary Krishna Sahni, Navinsangh district vice president Akash Poudel, and municipal president Pratik Bhandari, were also joining the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) municipal president Parshuram Parajuli said. UML municipal committee member Binod Thapa and Nepali Communist Party's Santosh Jaiswal also joined the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) municipal president.

In the first week of Jestha, Nawaraj Shrestha, a former central member of the Federation of Nepalese Chambers of Commerce and Industry, and campaigner Amrit Bhusal, among others, also joined the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). 'Many friends have now joined the party informally and are working on building the organization,' he said. 'Some public representatives are also in touch with the party, but the portfolio of the old party, election law, etc. are making it difficult to make a formal announcement.'

In Achham, more people are leaving their old political parties and joining the RSS. Established leaders and activists of the Congress and the Nepal Communist Party from the district to the ward level have joined the RSS. Those who joined the party include Congress Mahasamiti member Man Bahadur Shahi, Congress district member Rajesh Babu Bogati, Janak Adhikari and former regional secretary Tanka Dhami.

The departure of leaders who have contributed to the Congress organization for a long time has created a stir in the political circles of the district. Established leaders with leftist backgrounds have also joined the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Achham. Bam Bahadur Rawal, president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Achham and communist leader Shodhara Shahi, district secretary of the All Nepal Women's Association (Revolutionary), have also left their old parties and chosen the bell symbol. According to Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Achham leader Namraj Neupane, about 400 cadres have joined the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh after leaving various parties. Leader Neupane claimed that attraction towards the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh in the district is growing rapidly. Party General Secretary Bhupdev Shah has arrived in his home district Achham for the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh district convention and meeting program to be held on the 24th. General Secretary Shah himself has been deployed in the field for the preparations for the convention and the management of new entrants. As old and established faces have started entering, it is being analyzed that the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh is starting to show a strong organizational presence in the hilly districts of the far west.

Guthichaur Rural Municipality Chairman Budha joins Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS)
Dan Bahadur Budha, Chairman of Guthichaur Rural Municipality in Jumla, has joined the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS). He joined the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) along with Ward Chairman Indra Bahadur Budha of Guthichaur-3. He was welcomed by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) District Chairman Makkar Bahadur Bhandari. He had won the 2079 local level elections from the Congress. Budha brought more than a hundred Congress workers from Guthichaur with him. The Congress District Working Committee had written a letter to Budha to give an explanation within three days for not joining the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS).

Budha, who ran a good governance campaign in the municipality after the Gen-G movement, alleged that capacity and efficiency were not appreciated within the Congress. Chairman Budha, who joined the Maoists during the armed conflict, was affiliated with the UML during the peace process. He joined the Congress after not getting a ticket in the 2074 local level elections. He lost the election by becoming the district secretary candidate of the Congress.

Complaint by the mayor
Khadga Bahadur Khadka, the mayor of Basgadhi Municipality in Bardiya, has filed a complaint with the police alleging that he created a 'fake ID' and posted his photo inside the RSVP flag and logo on social media, saying it was 'the next option'.

Khadka, who is a central member of the UML, has requested through social media not to be misled by such posts. UML District President Shalikram Adhikari and Mayor Khadka have demanded that the Chief District Officer Gogan Bahadur Hamal identify the culprits and take action.

Khadka said that he had filed a cybercrime case with the police for falsely posting that he had joined the RSVP, which was a character assassination. Police Inspector Prakash Singh Karki said that a cybercrime case had been registered against Mayor Khadka for posting false content on social media and character assassination.
