The list of candidates released by the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) for the upcoming elections has seen significant participation from youth.

Out of the total 165 constituencies of the RSVP, nearly 40 percent of the 164 candidates announced so far are under 40 years of age. Of the 65 candidates under 40 years of age fielded by the RSVP, only 9 are women.

According to the RSVP's statistics, 65 candidates are under 40 years of age and 99 candidates are above 40 years of age. The party has claimed that the candidates have been selected in accordance with its policy of prioritizing youth and new faces.

According to the Election Commission, 17 young people under 30 years of age are going to contest the election from the RSVP. The youngest of them are two 25-year-old candidates.
