Congress spokesperson Prakash Sharan Mahat has said that the Congress will not be divided due to party leadership.
Talking to journalists at the party headquarters in Sanepa, Mahat said, 'The party leadership and our cause will not split the party. That is not in the interest of the party. It is not in the interest of the Nepali people and Nepal.' He also said that he wants the party to be united and that talks are underway. 'We are trying to unite the party with great flexibility. There is no question of the party being weakened or divided because of our cause,' he said.
He said that the supporters of the special general convention should also come to an agreement generously. 'The way we are presenting ourselves generously, they should also come to an agreement for party unity,' he said.
