The Congress Special Central General Convention Election Committee has made public the election schedule for the selection of new leadership.

According to the committee, the nomination registration fee for the post of president has been fixed at 30,000. Similarly, the fee for the posts of central vice president and general secretary has been fixed at 25,000, and for central members at 10,000, informed committee coordinator Sitaram KC.

With the formal progress of the election process for the selection of new leadership from the special general convention of the Congress, elections for the 134-member central working committee are set to be held.

Election committee coordinator Sitaram KC said in a press conference that the election will be held as per the old statute. According to him, elections will be held for 121 central members including 13 office bearers.
