General Secretaries Gagan Thapa and Bishwaprakash Sharma presented a report at the second special general convention of the Nepali Congress. The report also mentions the sentiments and essence of Gen-G and the youth.

In the contemporary political proposal issued by Gagan Thapa, he has mentioned the essence of the Gen-G movement. Admitting that the movement called by Gen-G on Bhadra 23 and 24 has established a new consciousness and awareness in Nepali politics, he has expressed high respect for those who have suffered from oppression and violent incidents.

Gagan has mentioned that he will assimilate the just demands raised by the movement, the issues of promoting good governance, service delivery and meaningful representation of the young generation. He has mentioned that he is determined to take legal action against the culprits involved in the incident through an independent and impartial investigation into the violent incidents of 23 and 24. He has expressed his commitment to make arrangements with policy and structural arrangements to ensure meaningful participation and decisive representation of the youth at every level of the party, from internal organizations to state and public bodies of state administration.

The main spirit of the Bhadra 23 and 24 uprising was linked to corruption control and good governance. ‘The Nepali Congress firmly believes that the voice and campaign for ending corruption, ensuring good governance, transparency and the right to information is the natural voice of the common citizen.’ The Nepali Congress believes that a multi-stakeholder national dialogue is essential today to address and institutionalize the voices voiced by the Gen-G generation for change,’ the report states.

From addressing local urban problems, health, education, availability of services and facilities, employment, housing, etc., the report covers the needs of the youth related to education, employment and services.

The report submitted by Bishwaprakash Sharma also prioritizes the demands and feelings of Gen-G and the younger generations. His report also accepts the youth protests of Bhadra 23 and 24 as a rebellion ‘in favor of good governance and against the evils within the system’.

The report also mentions that the unemployed youth wandering in search of jobs and corruption cases are not happy with them . Sharma's report proposes to ensure numerical representation in the constitution to bring youth to the leadership level . It mentions that youth and Gen-G will be included from the central working committee to the lower level . It mentions that 40 people under the age of 40 (20 people under the age of 30 and 20 people between the ages of 30-40) will be included in the central committee . It mentions that 10-10 people from both age groups will be included in the provincial working committee . It has been proposed to represent at least 6-6 youth in the district, federal area, provincial assembly area and municipal committees and at least 4-4 youth in the ward working committee .
