Speaking at a press conference, the leader of the special general convention supporters, Subash Pokharel, said that the number of those who signed in favor of the special general convention was 2,662 on Sunday, which increased by 6.24 percent on Monday. Stating that the establishment party is not recognized by the statute, he called on the party leaders to participate in the closed session. He said that the number of general convention representatives in favor of the special general convention will be shown by increasing it to seventy percent. He also informed that the closed session will begin on Tuesday to select the leadership.
He said, ‘Our number has increased by 6.24 percent today compared to yesterday. Yesterday it was 2,662. With an increase of 6.24, more than 63 percent have signed. Some people are continuing to come. Our statute does not recognize the establishment. I urge the party leaders – we heard that 66 percent, we will show it by increasing it to seventy. Our closed session will begin tomorrow at 9 o’clock. There are 9 groups. Koshi Province has submitted its report. The election will begin tomorrow.'
On Tuesday, he said that the election, discipline, central committee and other committees will be dissolved.
