Nepali Congress General Secretary Bishwa Prakash Sharma has said that in the coming days, they will also focus on the good governance demanded by Gen G.

Addressing a special general convention held at Bhrikutimandap on Sunday, he said that the Gen-G did not ask for the end of democracy in the movement.

'You had asked for good governance. You had asked for the political leadership to be like a flowing river, not a frozen pond,' he said, 'We have resolved for that. We are committed to addressing the good governance you have asked for in the coming days. And we are committed to conveying a message to the leadership that is like a frozen pond that it should also flow away.'

He said that the Gen-Gs did not come from outer space but were brothers and sisters and children, and also said that the incident of Bhadra 23 was a mistake in history. 'No Gen-G came from outer space. In our arms, we had our brothers and sisters. We had our children,' he said, 'A big mistake was made in history on Bhadra 23. We couldn't sleep for many nights after that. Even today, I ask myself, 'What difference would it have made if only the parliament building had been demolished on the 23rd?'
