Nidhi also responded by saying, ”Who are you?”
Workers in favor of a special general convention in the Nepali Congress have surrounded former vice president Bimalendra Nidhi and shouted slogans at the party office. They have attacked Nidhi for obstructing the special general convention.
Then Nidhi also joined their protest. Nidhi, who was going to attend the Central Working Committee meeting, was surrounded by cadres as soon as she entered through the east gate.
Even though the police stopped the disgruntled cadres from moving forward, slogans were also being raised. Then Nidhi started protesting against them, saying, 'Who are you?'.
Nidhi said that she was mistreated when she tried to enter the party meeting. 'They surrounded me at the gate outside the east side of the party office. They surrounded me and did not let me enter the car. When I tried to enter on foot, they surrounded me from all sides. They started abusing me by clinging to the hood of the car. There was nothing to be afraid of. Some of them said, 'I am from Nuwakot. Who are you?' It cannot be the Congress to say such things,' Nidhi said.
Nidhi said that if the special general convention is discussed, we can talk in a calm atmosphere. 'But suddenly Bimalendra Nidhi started talking in various ways, calling it a dead body,' he said.
Meanwhile, the leaders in favor of the special general convention have issued a statement informing that they do not have any programs at the party central office. 'We would like to inform the general public that the supporters of the Nepali Congress special general convention do not have any activities or programs at the party office,' the statement said.
