Three candidates from the KP Sharma Oli panel have been elected as UML Vice-Presidents. Similarly, one from the Ishwor Pokharel panel and one independent candidate have won the Vice-President post.
This time, the candidates who are re-elected as vice-chairmen from the Oli panel are Bishnu Poudel and Ram Bahadur Thapa. Poudel got 1,675 votes while Thapa got 1,516 votes. Similarly, former Deputy Secretary General Prithvi Subba Gurung won the vice-chairmanship by getting popular votes (1,737).
Similarly, Gokarna Bista, who is also a former secretary, won the vice-chairmanship from the Pokharel group with 1,368 votes. Raghuji Pant, who filed an independent candidacy after not being included in the list of vice-chairman candidates from the establishment party, also won with 1,258 votes.
