Oli, who is set to run for the post of chairman for the third term, has almost finalized his panel. According to sources close to Oli, preparations are underway to field Bishnu Poudel, Ramhadur Thapa, Guru Baral, Prithvisubba Gurung and Pradeep Gyawali as vice-chairmen.
Shankar Pokharel has been re-elected as general secretary. Similarly, Raghubir Mahaseth, Bhanubhakta Dhakal and Bishnu Rimal are set to run for deputy general secretary and Lekhraj Bhatta, Padma Aryal, Chhabilal Bishwakarma, Khagraj Adhikari, Yamalal Kandel, Sherdhan Rai, Hikmat Karki, Mahesh Basnet and Rajan Bhattarai are set to run for secretary.
A leader close to Oli said that the team will be finalized by the time the candidacy is filed. The team of senior vice-chairman Ishwar Pokharel is set to be announced shortly.
