Home Minister Aryal said that he is confident that the election will be held on the scheduled date with the support, cooperation and coordination of all relevant bodies as the election will be held only under tight and reliable security arrangements.
Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal has urged voters to participate in the voting process on Falgun 21 with confidence as all necessary security arrangements have been made for the upcoming elections.
He made this observation while addressing the Central Security Committee meeting held on Thursday.
Home Minister Aryal said that he is confident that the elections will be held on the scheduled date with the support, cooperation and coordination of all relevant bodies as the elections will be held only with tight and reliable security arrangements.
Similarly, in the meeting, the heads of all three security organs and the officials of the District Security Committee informed Home Minister Aryal that all security arrangements are being made and the district-wise security strategy is being implemented gradually.
According to the Home Minister's Secretariat, the meeting also held detailed discussions on the implementation of the Central Election Security Strategy and the overall preparations for the elections to be held on Falgun 21. In the meeting conducted via 'Zoom Yap', Home Minister Aryal took information from the officials of the Central Security Committee, the Chief Secretaries of all 7 provinces (chiefs of provincial command posts), and the Chief District Officers of all 77 districts, including the officials of the District Security Committee, about the implementation of the provincial and district-level security strategy and election preparations.
A presentation was also made in the meeting by the officials of the District Security Committee, which includes the Provincial Chief Secretary and the Chief District Coordinator.
