Demonstrators set fire to the houses of former prime ministers Sher Bahadur Deuba and Pushpa Kamal Dahal and former minister Deepak Khadka on August 24. When Deuba, Dahal and Khadka's houses were set on fire, there was an immediate buzz on social media about the burning of money. During that time, the protestor went inside the house and took out the money and later posted the video and photo of the burnt note on social media.

On 25th of August at 2:44 in the afternoon called 'Sivandi 3'  A video has been posted by TikTok user , showing burning notes at the Deuba residence in Budhanilkanth. It is written in the video, "Sher Bahadur should see the destruction of money in the house of the corrupt." If the poor people had this, the condition of the country would have been better.' In the video, the person has shown the halved 1000 and 500 notes. 

On 11th September i.e. 25th August at 8:37 PM, a TikTok user named 'Nepali Dot Firefiles' posted a video   The next day at 4 pm 45 minutes called 'Viral Video Hub 5'  TikTok users also posted that video . In the video, half-burned notes of one thousand and five hundred are seen. In the voiceover of the video, it is heard, 'Hain ho dai, just to see this... money, dollars. Sab paisa yo jaleko.' These videos are not created using AI. Various fact-checkers have shown that these videos are true. The video of money flying in the sky has also spread on social media. A video of money notes flying in the sky from a burning house was spread on social media on August 24. 

This video was uploaded by a Facebook user named 'Rajan Budhathoki' . The user uploaded this video on Facebook on 24 August at 12:39 PM. Other users posted similar videos. There are two common themes in those videos – burning houses and flying money. The house seen in the video belongs to former energy minister and Congress leader Deepak Khadka. All those videos are not 'curated'.  There has been a video that money was also found in the house of Maoist Chairman Dahal. A Tiktok user named 'Raj Kandel.55' at 4:38 PM on 27 August 

Post a video saying 'money in Prachanda's house'  have broken the story. In the 3 minutes and 17 seconds long video, it is shown that bundles of money are being burnt. A person who spoke in the video said, "People here are starving because they can't pay rent and can't eat." One thousand note in Prachanda's house O My God. This can be done by stripping the poor naked. A person seen in the video is also seen trying to remove an object that looks like a wad of money. But the notes made in the house of Deuba and Khadka are not seen in the video. Not all the videos showing money at the leader's house are true. Some misleading videos have also spread on social media. 

A Tiktok user named 'Gyan Prakashkarki' posted a video on 28 August at 3:11 p.m.

 , in which "Sher Bahadur Deuba House US Dollar" is written. In that video, wet notes are seen lying in the soil. But that video was found to be viral since last July 14. Not sure where the video is from. The video of Deuba hiding money in a bunker is also viral on social media. In a video, it is claimed that there is money in a pit that looks like a tank in Deuba's house. But there is no basis to confirm it. related news:
