Minister of Energy, Water Resources and Irrigation, Physical Infrastructure and Transport and Urban Development Kulman Ghising discussed with the stakeholders on the issues of traffic management and road safety during the festival.

Minister Ghising discussed with the Secretary of the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Transport, Director General of Transport Management Department, Director General of Road Department, Nepal Police, officials of the National Federation of Nepal Transport Professionals . Minister Ghising gave instructions to listen to the complaints of the passengers about the road conditions around the clock and to inform them about its management, and to make necessary arrangements for immediate restoration in case of road obstructions such as landslides.

The meeting has decided to instruct the road department to operate round-the-clock two-way traffic on Narayangarh-Muglin road, remove the blockage in the Tuin Khola on the Narayangarh-Muglin road, and bring the traffic into operation immediately.

It has been decided to request not to operate heavy vehicles (12 wheels and above) on the lower section of the Butwal-Narayanghat road during Dasain .

Kathmandu Among the vehicles that go out of the valley are passenger public vehicles  The meeting also decided to discuss with the relevant parties for the arrangements to exit the Nagdhunga-Sisneri tunnel and enter through the same route after Dasain, and to request the Ministry of Home Affairs to instruct the Nepal Police to increase the number of police patrols and police in order to strengthen security arrangements on the new bus park and various highways in the country. . 

Issuing a public notice asking the general public to travel only knowing the weather and road conditions,  The meeting also decided to prepare a procedure/guideline for making vehicles safe and technology-friendly and submit them to the ministry as soon as possible.
