Bandegaon Ashram of Godavari Municipality-14 Lalitpur. The ashram of Krishna Prasad Bhattarai (Kisunji), known as a saintly leader, looked like a post-destruction scene.

The strong smell of burning debris and smoke was spreading all around . As soon as you enter the original gate, you see a jeep numbered Ba 2 Ch 1842 . The remaining part of this jeep that Kisnuji rode in the fifties was nowhere to be seen.

Pots and fruit plants were scattered. The large statue of Kisunji with the benign face seen at other times was not there either. A young man found near the ashram said that the protestors dragged the idol by kicking it and took it away and burnt it. A half-sized clay statue was seen to be broken and thrown away.

Ramsharan Bhandari, a local resident who has been visiting the same ashram as a helper after Kisunji's death, said that the protestors destroyed the ashram in an instant. He said, "We begged a lot not to burn, but they didn't." When they started attacking us, we ran away to save our lives .''
