Everyone in the Hayu family received Rs 191,520 for three months at the rate of Rs 3,990 per month. According to the census of 2078, the population of the Hayu caste, listed as an endangered tribal community, is 3,069.
Meanwhile, Congress chief whip Shyam Ghimire has said that he is ready to provide financial, material and moral support for the re-establishment of the Hayu family. Urging the endangered Hayus to return to the village, Ghimire said that he is committed to providing all kinds of humanitarian facilities.
