The Council of Ministers is meeting to approve the revenue and expenditure estimate (budget) for the financial year 2082/083, which will be presented this afternoon at the joint meeting of both houses of the Federal Parliament.

The meeting will be held at the office of the Prime Minister and the Council of Ministers. The Prime Minister's Private Secretariat has informed that a commission meeting will be held today afternoon under the chairmanship of Prime Minister KP Oli, Chairman of the National Planning Commission.

Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Vishnu Prasad Paudel is scheduled to present the budget at 3:00 pm in the Federal Parliament.
