The government has appointed Vishwa Poudel as the governor of Nepal Rastra Bank  . Minister of Communications and Information Technology Prithvisubba Gurung, who is also the spokesperson of the government, informed that Paudel was appointed as the governor at the meeting of the Council of Ministers held on Tuesday. With this decision of the government, Poudel has become the 18th governor.

RPP Chairman Rajendra Lingden has expressed that he will allow Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli to use the helicopter facility to escape from the country. Lingden, who is also a member of Parliament, said that Prime Minister Oli will be given a chance to escape from the country at an event organized by the movement committee on May 15, which is being prepared by royalists and RPRPA and others to make Gyanendra Shah the king.
