Sridha Rajyalakshmi Shah, brand manager of Jawalakhel Group of Industries, said that in order to be accepted by the society, one must first accept oneself. She said this at the fifth edition of the 'Nirvik Nari: Nari Shakti' program organized by Kantipur Media Group's Nari Magazine on Wednesday.

Narrating the story of society accepting her only after she accepted her identity, she said, "What I feel as an educated and business woman is to learn to accept myself." It took me a long time to come out as a lesbian, to recognize myself. I know myself after marriage . That became my turning point . It was difficult to come to society but it was necessary.' 

She added, 'I live in my own way, I wear whatever I want to wear . I thought society wouldn't do it until I felt comfortable . After I accepted my identity, everyone accepted it.' 

The way people see lesbians is different . She said that now, gradually, those who look at them in a good way and those who love them have also increased.
