After the government prepares to conduct the class 12 examination, the protesting Nepal Teachers' Federation has appealed to the central president, headmaster and other teachers to come to Kathmandu.
The federation issued a statement on Thursday and asked to participate in the ongoing street protest in Kathmandu by boycotting the examination. In a statement issued by Federation President Laxmikishore Subedi and General Secretary Tula Bahadur Thapa, teaching staff have been requested not to participate in the examination to be conducted on the 11th.
The National Examination Board has indicated that the examination will be conducted through the chief district officer, even if civil servants are deployed. "It has been noticed that there has been pressure from the officials of the board and the district administration office to participate in the examination with threats," the statement issued by the federation said, "We request the principals, teachers and school staff not to participate in the examination process under any circumstances."
