Ravi Lamichhane in Block No. 4 of Rupandehi Jail

Ravi Lamichhane, president of RSWP and the then managing director of Gorkha Media Network, was sent to the district jail on Monday. On Monday morning, the police submitted him to the district court after receiving the order from the Butwal Bench of Tulsipur High Court.

A team led by DSP Suraj Karki of the District Police Office presented him to the court. As soon as he was brought to court, Lamichhane was sent to prison after completing the process of providing detention. Under the leadership of DSP Karki, Lamichhane was immediately taken to jail.

According to District Jail Administrator Suresh Bhandari, Lamichhane's health examination has been completed in the jail for about an hour. Lamichhane has since been kept in block number 4 of the prison . Administrator Bhandari said that there is only Lamichhane in the said prison. "His health condition is normal," he said. sources, after the High Court ordered Lamichhane to be detained and investigated, a separate cell has been prepared for him in the district jail. Lamichhane's cell is outside the prison building.

Lamichhane was arrested from Kathmandu on Friday night and brought to Bhairahawa on Saturday morning. After leaving for two days, he was kept in the custody of District Police Office, Rupandehi on Saturday and Sunday.

Before taking the court to the court on Monday morning, the security system of the headquarters Bhairahawa was tightened. Nepal and Armed Police were deployed from the district police on the way to the court and around the court premises. Likewise, a large number of security personnel were mobilized in and around the district jail premises.

The police arrested Lamichhane after the High Court Tulsipur Butwal bench ordered him to be detained on Friday in the Supreme Cooperative Fraud and Organized Crime case.
