Kathmandu's air has been polluted for four consecutive days. From Sunday, March 17th to Wednesday, 20th, Kathmandu's air quality level is at the 'highly polluted' level.
On Sunday, Chait 17th, the air quality of Kathmandu was 211 AQI (Air Quality Index). Similarly, on Monday 18th Chait, 232, Tuesday 19th Chait 223 and Wednesday 20th Chait (four o'clock) reached 247 AQI . With the air quality of Kathmandu continuously reaching 200 AQI, Kathmandu has become the most polluted city in the world on Wednesday.
It has now caused eye irritation and atmospheric dust particles have become white frost. After Kathmandu's air becomes continuously polluted, the environment department has also requested to use mandatory masks when going out of the house and not to go out of the house when the pollution is high .
