Executive Director of Nepal Electricity Authority Kulman Ghising has been removed from his post.
According to a minister, the executive director of the authority, Ghising, has been removed from the post. A minister said that the cabinet meeting held on Monday evening decided to remove Ghising.
The government has been asking Ghising for an explanation several times before. Energy Minister Deepak Khadka has been giving a statement saying that Ghising has not intimidated the government . Kulman said that the explanation he was asked before was not satisfactory for many reasons. On the contrary, he questioned the government. He said that since the basis and reason were not revealed in the explanation, there was no situation to submit more copies.
Minister Khadka said that he was not satisfied with the explanation given by Ghising on March 28, and asked him for two points of explanation as to why he should not be removed from the post of Executive Director of Nepal Electricity Authority by a ministerial decision on February 13.
