Chief Minister of Gandaki Province Surendraraj Pandey has said that although federalism has been implemented in Nepal, the current federalism is only a skeleton.

Speaking in the fourth session of the interactive program on 'Gantavya Gandaki' organized by Kantipur Media Group in Pokhara on Wednesday, he said that federalism, which is only a skeleton, is running on '2G'.

When talking about federalism, the era is '5G' but Nepal's federalism has moved to '2G'. The reason is that there is only a skeleton in the current federalism. The skeleton has no limbs . The mouth and mind are not full," he said, "In the constitution, there is a mention of single rights and common rights. What rights can be used how and by whom can be discussed . There is no question about single rights, everyone has accepted federalism. But there has been pretense when making the laws required by the constitution.'

He said that even if federalism is implemented, questions cannot be raised if laws are made according to the spirit of federalism. It has been 7 years since the formation of the government, the state government has reached 5 years and is walking in the first 2 years. Is it time to evaluate federalism now or not?', he said, 'First of all,  Should the skeleton be filled or not? Can questions be raised when the skeleton is unable to speak, walk, or use its hands? It is not possible to raise the question of not giving anything and then what to do?

Stating that the top leaders of political parties brought federalism, he also said that the superficial mentality raised the question that federalism is not needed.
