Nepali Congress candidate Nagendra Limbu has been elected as the chairman of Laligunras municipality ward number 8 of Tehrathum.
According to the Election Commission, Limbu, who was elected as the ward chairman, received 440 votes. The counting of local level by-elections that was completed on Sunday was completed on Monday night.
Buddha Bahadur Limbu of Nepal Communist Party (UML), Limbu's closest rival, received 360 votes.
