The Nepali Congress is going to make Krishnaman Dangol a candidate for the mayor of Kirtipur Municipality. Congress has decided to make Dangol a candidate for the by-elections to be held on November 16.
By-elections are about to be held here after the death of Mayor Rajkumar Nakarmi, elected from the Nepali Congress.
Raju Nepal, the chief secretary of the office of the Congress Bagmati Province Committee, informed that it has been decided to make Krishnaman Dangol a candidate on behalf of the Congress in the by-election.
Dangol is also the Chairman of Nepali Congress Kirtipur Nagar Committee. He is the Chairman of the Municipal Committee for the third term and is the former president of Lalitkala Campus.
Here CPN-UML has nominated Surendra Manandhar and Maoist Center has nominated Shivsharan Maharjan.
