38 election officer offices have been established on Friday for the upcoming local level by-elections.
According to the Election Commission, 32 chief election officer offices and six election officer offices have been established at the local level where by-elections will be held.
Commission spokesperson Nita Pokharel Aryal informed that the election officer's office has been established at the center of the relevant local level and ward where by-elections will be held. The election program will be conducted in the office of the Chief Electoral Officer and the Election Officer from the 2nd to the 5th of November. There is a schedule for registering the nomination of candidates on November 2nd.
There is a program to publish the final list of candidates on November 5th and to award election symbols to the candidates. Voting will be held on Sunday 16th November from 7 am to 5 pm. Meanwhile, the commission has assigned joint secretary Nita Pokharel Aryal as spokesperson. According to today's decision of the Commission, Assistant Spokesperson Durga Prasad Chalise, who has been appointed spokesperson for Aryal, gave the information.
