Five-year-old Sagun is playing with friends on one side. Sometimes they rob their close relatives. Those who see Sagun playing with his friends, playing in the arms of his relatives forget the incident of October 12 for a while. In particular, August 12 is Sagun's birthday, but it also happens to be the day he lost his mother.

On October 10, Sagun along with his mother Savita Sapkota came to his mother's house in Ashram Danda, Panauti-1 Railay. The rain that fell from October 11 was pouring down till the morning of October 12. All the villagers started coming out of their houses to save their lives as the risk of landslides increased due to the overnight rain. Sagun slept with his grandmother Shanta Sapkota in another house.

Sagun also left the house with his grandmother. They were on their way to where Rashmita was with her mother Savita and Sania, who were sleeping in the Pallo house. Landslide fell before reaching the mother's place. Sagun's mother and Sanima were buried there. Her grandmother, who had accompanied Sagun, rushed home to see if her 2 daughters could be saved. He was also crushed by the landslide. Sagun's mother Savita and Sania's mother Rashmita died there after being buried in the landslide. The grandmother was seriously injured.

Sagun, a minor, witnessed this scene. The incident that he saw directly did not disappear from his memory. He used to call his mother 'Sabi Aunty'. Knowing about Sagun's emotional condition, he himself shows the scene to anyone who comes to meet him and says, "The landslide brought my Sabi Aunty here."

Even though his relatives try to take him somewhere else, he refuses to go anywhere. Pahero looks at his mother's burial place and says, 'Mero sabi aunty ihhi ahaas hai?' Because her father is not identified.

Savita Sapkota, who came to Kathmandu for work, fell in love. Her boyfriend became uncontactable after she became pregnant. Then Savita returned to the village. She gave birth to Sagun on October 12, 2076. After living in the village for a few years, she went to Kathmandu for her son's future.

The landslide destroyed the family identity

Savita used to work as a house cleaner in Naya Baneshwar, Kathmandu. After the landlord went abroad, she came to the village until he returned, where she could not spend more than 2 nights.

Savita's mother-in-law's financial condition is very weak. Savita's father Kancha Sapkota has been earning his living by carrying heavy loads and doing wage labour. The earthquake also destroyed his house. An organization had built a house. That too was taken away by the landslide,' said the youngest, 'Two daughters were also buried in the landslide.' After falling in the landslide, his wife Shanta could not move below the waist. He has no one to take care of him. The younger said that there is no one to take care of the little grandson.

The younger one is now living in his older brother's dilapidated house. Sagun's birth has not been registered due to the fact that the father has not been identified. Geeta Banjara, Deputy Head of Panauti Municipality, said that they will coordinate with the District Administration Office to register Sagun's birth. "Even if it is made of paper, it will be easier in the future," said the younger, "if not, it will suffer more later."
