Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has stated that Belybridges will be installed on important roads where bridges have been washed away, and alternative means such as causeways and diversions will be used on other blocked roads.
He also said that a safe and reliable transport system will be arranged in coordination with businessmen associated with the private sector. The government has committed to make effective market monitoring and regulation to control artificial scarcity, price increase and black market of essential commodities. The government has mobilized a team under the leadership of the joint secretary in the flood-affected districts.
