Two-way roads have been restored in 345 places blocked by floods and landslides across the country. Similarly, in 408 places, only one-way roads are open, according to the Road Department.
According to the department, under Nagadhunga-Muglin road, two-way roads have been opened in Mauwa Khola, Hukdikhola, Fisling, Kalikhola, Simaltal, Jalbeere, Ghoptevir section.
Under Nagadhunga-Muglin road, only one-way road is open in Jhyaplekhola and Jawang Khola section. On the other hand, landslides have occurred in more than a dozen places of Sindhuli-Udaipur-Okhaldhunga and Khotang in the central hills. According to the
department, the road has been operational in two-way in Kudule, Akkere Bhir, Panchakanya, Kalimati-Sanambesi, Sokhukhola and Kalleri Dobhan section of the Sindhuli section of the highway. In Kukheretar of this highway, the road is in one-way operation . Kaldhunga section of Kavre under VP highway has been operational in one way. The 400th section of this highway has been operational only in one direction .
Near Mangaltar section, about 200 meters of road has been washed away by Roshi river, so this section has not been operational. A one-way road is in operation at Karkibas in Lalitpur on Kanti Rajpath. According to the road department, Samakhushi-Tokha-Gurje-Vidur road is operational in both directions.
Bhainse section of Hetouda-Bhainse-Palung-Nauvise-Kathmadau road has also been operational in two-way form . The Okharpauwa section of the Balaju-Trishuli road section connecting Kathmandu-Nuwakot is operational only in one direction . Mahadeotar section of Kanti Rajpath has been operational in one way. Kodari, Daklang of Sindhupalchok under Arani highway is in one-way operation .
