The bodies of 14 people have been removed from the bus that was buried by a landslide in Jhyaplekhola on the border of Kathmandu and Dhading. Kathmandu police chief SSP Vasant Razoure said that the police team deployed from Kathmandu and Dhading removed the bodies of 14 people from a passenger micro bus on Saturday evening.
According to him, the bodies of 14 people aboard the microbus number Lu 1 J 4578 have been removed. According to Razoure, more search and rescue work is going on at the scene. As it appears that another bus may have been buried there, the search has been continued.
Around 400 passengers who were stuck around the tunnel in Nagadhunga since Friday evening have been brought to Kathmandu through the tunnel by the Dhading police in coordination with the Ministry of Home Affairs.
According to Dhading police chief Gautam KC, 400 passengers were rescued in 4 buses of Chandragiri.
