UML General Secretary Shankar Pokharel has said that it is a conspiracy to influence the investigation by publicizing that the Chairman of the Independent Party, Ravi Lamichhane, has received a 'clean chit' in the cooperative case.

Speaking at a press conference organized by Press Chautari Dang in Ghorahi on Saturday morning, Pokharel said that such false propaganda was just an attempt to cover up the mistake. He said that acquiring 15 percent shares in Galaxy TV without investment is unethical and unfair. He said that it is wrong to abuse power and get shares without investment.

Similarly, he said that any company receiving money from the cooperative is also against the law. 'Taking money and being influenced by undue influence  The job is wrong  . It is wrong to give money to those who are not members of the cooperative,' he said. He said that Lamichhane must take the responsibility and moral responsibility for wrongly taking money from the cooperative as the managing director.
