District Court Dhanusha has granted 3 days extension to Kantipur Media Group Chairman Kailash Sirohia. The court granted Sirohia an extension of 3 days to investigate.
Sirohia, who was arrested in Kathmandu on Tuesday and brought to Dhanusha in a case related to citizenship, was given the order by the bench of District Court Judge Churaman Khadka on Wednesday.
The police detained Sirohia for 10 days and demanded investigation time, while the public prosecutor demanded 5 days detention and investigation time . Sirohia entered the central office of Kantipur Publications at Thapathali on Tuesday and was arrested by the police from the office and brought to Dhanusha.
